COMPANY PIANIST - MELBOURNE
We are seeking an experienced ballet pianist to join the Music Team. Applicants must be expert pianists, have considerable experience in playing for professional ballet classes and rehearsals, and a broad knowledge of the classical ballet repertoire. Pianists of The Australian Ballet can be asked to perform orchestral piano and keyboards in the Company’s seasons. Additionally, they may be invited to perform as soloists

FIRST NATIONS CADETS
We are on the look out for two First Nation Education Cadets that are able to join us for a 24 weeks January to July 2022. This is best suited to graduates who are keen to have a touring experience.
All costs for touring are covered, you will be well supported, given clear goals and mentored within the Education and Outreach team with access to practical support through our medical team.
These roles are for artists that are considering making a career, working in the community as a teaching artist, and the focus is very much on pedagogy, working in a diverse environment and practicing choreographic craft within community.
Applicants are not required to have advanced ballet technique but a strong dance training is advantageous as well as bringing a confident perspective to our work in embedding more inclusive Indigenous world views into our pedagogies.
