Annual Giving
One of the most significant ways you can support the company.
The rich tradition of philanthropy at The Australian Ballet began just weeks after the company was founded in September 1962. Ever since, there have been many memorable moments where our devoted community of supporters have linked arms to make very special things happen and ensured we can continue to inspire and delight audiences through the power of performance.
We depend on ticket sales for over 60% of our annual income, so the intermittent absence of live performance during 2020 and 2021 was a very real threat to The Australian Ballet as we know and love. Because of the generosity of our nearest and dearest supporters, we are still here today and we are eternally thankful to those of you who have kept us dancing through the rain.
This is a pivotal moment in The Australian Ballet’s history and, as we delight in Artistic Director David Hallberg’s inspiring second season, there has never been a more compelling time to support the company.
Below are just some of the ways you can help to ensure the future sustainability of the company, the dancers and the art form that we love.
All gifts of $2 and above are tax-deductible and everyone who shows their support in this way will receive a copy of Talking Pointe, our biannual magazine for The Australian Ballet’s giving community.
