Join a community who makes very special things happen

For 60 years, our community of philanthropic supporters have helped us realise our boldest ambitions and overcome our greatest challenges.

The Australian Ballet’s technical and artistic excellence, diverse and dynamic repertoire, accessible and inclusive community engagement, and a global touring footprint are all possible because of generations of ballet lovers, like you.

In 2024, we’ll temporarily move from the State Theatre, our much-loved home venue in Melbourne, to the historic Regent Theatre, as the transformation of Melbourne’s Arts Precinct gains momentum.

This period presents exciting opportunities to create new repertoire and for the company to engage in different ways with our community, on and off the stage. However, it will also be financially challenging for your national ballet company, as our box-office potential is curtailed, and production costs increase.

As the heart of Philanthropy at The Australian Ballet, we’re inviting our nearest and dearest to show their love for our artists, our company and the art form by making an annual gift to sustain us at this pivotal time.

All gifts of $2 and above are tax-deductible and everyone who makes a donation will receive a copy of Talking Pointe, our biannual magazine for The Australian Ballet’s giving community.

Contact the Philanthropy Team or call 1300 752 900 if you have any questions.
Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
