2021 Season Packages
Our 2021 Season will be the first under our new Artistic Director David Hallberg.
We’re excited to be announcing the season on Tuesday 1 December 2020; 2021 Season Packages will be on sale from Wednesday 2 December.
This year you will have the opportunity to hear from Executive Director Libby Christie, outgoing Artistic Director David McAllister, and of course, David Hallberg himself. More details on how you can join us for this historic unveiling will be released soon.

When will the 2021 season be announced and go on sale?
Our 2021 Season will be announced on Tuesday 1 December 2020. Season Packages will be available for renewal or purchase from Wednesday 2 December 2020.
This year we will be inviting you to be a part of our season launch; stay tuned for more details.
When will the 2021 package and performance dates be released?
We would like to give you as much advanced notice as possible about our 2021 season package and performance dates. We are working hard on this and will update you before our season is announced.
What changes are you making due to COVID-19?
Your health is our top priority. We are doing everything we can to ensure a safe return to theatres next year, and we’ll provide more information about this when it’s time to renew or purchase your season package. We are also looking at our policies and procedures to give you peace of mind, so if your plans need to change, we’ll be there for you.
I have a credit on my account from a cancelled performance. Where can I see this amount?
When the 2021 season goes on sale, you'll be able to view this credit value in My Account and redeem it on any purchase made directly with The Australian Ballet, including season packages.
What happens to my parking and program vouchers from 2020?
2020 parking and program vouchers will be extended to 31 December 2021.
Can I keep my seats for 2021?
Our intention is that Principal Package holders will be able renew their current seats for the 2021 season. However, all live events in 2021 will need to comply with social distancing rules or capacity limits in place at the time, which may necessitate some reallocation of seating.
As Australia deals with the impact of the COVID-19 virus, we at The Australian Ballet are working to keep our audiences, artists and staff safe and healthy. Acting on the most recent Government guidelines we have directed all employees, including those in our Box Office, to work from home.
