Faster is modern ballet at its visceral best: a heart-pumping triple program from some of the world’s best contemporary choreographers.
Inspired by the Olympic motto of “Faster, Higher, Stronger”, David Bintley’s Faster explores the super-charged world of elite sports. Dancers show off their extraordinary athleticism against a driving score by Matthew Hindson.
Infra sees the return of Wayne McGregor, who explores urban humanity against projections by British artist Julian Opie and Max Richter’s haunting score.
Faster also features a world premiere from Tim Harbour, Squander and Glory, a dynamic work about the human energy system, with set design by acclaimed architect Kelvin Ho.
Experience the intoxicating physical power of ballet with Faster.
… fast, strong, theatrically clever and musically powerful …
