Did you know: 371 individual costumes were created by our in-house Costume Atelier for the world premiere of Oscar©.

It takes a dedicated community to stage ballet at the highest level. The generosity of our supporters fuels Artistic Director David Hallberg’s vision, enhancing every season he curates. It also powers our Costume Atelier and Production Centre, where each costume, set and prop is handcrafted by our skilled artisans.

Did you know: In 2024, our Dance Education Team brought the joy of dance to 26,354 participants in schools and communities across six states and territories – all at low or no cost.

As Australia’s national ballet company, sharing the joy of dance with communities near and far is central to our mission. Thanks to the support of our community, our Australian tours and community engagement programs offer inclusive, accessible opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect with dance.
