Step into the ballrooms of Paris and join us for our production of The Merry Widow - a light-hearted production filled with tangled affairs, narrow misses and jealous lovers.

The tiny nation of Pontevedro is on the verge of bankruptcy, and the dashing Count Danilo must rescue his country by marrying the newly widowed and fabulously wealthy Hanna Glawari. But trouble brews when he discovers that he rejected her when she was his childhood sweetheart. Will she forgive him?

With plenty of wow moments, lavish glamour, show-stopping costumes and breathtaking dancing, The Merry Widow is a production you don't want to miss.

This sumptuous soufflé of a ballet is possibly one of the best The Australian Ballet has produced.
