Through a nostalgic lens, this feel-good dance experience reflects on a time that was both pure and simple, but also a time defined by the distinct challenges of becoming an adult.

Inger, a Swedish choreographer, danced with Nederlands Dans Theater and has created works for leading companies all over Europe.

Experience this one-off performance at Sydney Opera House, with tickets starting at just $30 for under 30s. $45 for adult tickets.

Sydney only.

Contains sexual references.

"Dancers face the difficult challenge to develop their own artistic identity throughout their careers. There is nothing harder for them than to just be themselves during the dance. It takes courage to leave your façade behind and question your own identity. I want to show the dancers on the road to realness, learning to leave unnecessary gestures, movements and structures behind. Eventually they will find a way to be honest and pure in their choreographies as they search for clarity, purity, colour and optimism."
