Yaru Xu

(She/Her)

Yaru was born in Xiamen China and moved to Perth Western Australia in 2009. She trained at John Curtin College of The Arts, and in 2018 won The Australian Ballet School Scholarship Award where she completed her training. In 2023, during her graduate year at The Australian Ballet School, Yaru joined The Australian Ballet’s production of Anne Woolliams’ Swan Lake and Frederick Ashton’s The Dream. Yaru officially joined The Australian Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2024.
