Troy Schrieber

Troy is a Kungganji/Kuku Yalanji dancer, and began as a freestyle and cultural dancer working with Miriki Performing Arts and Minjil. In 2022, Troy took part in The Australian Ballet’s First Nations Cadetship and was subsequently hired as a dance educator. Troy has performed nationally and internationally in LA, San-Francisco, Hawaii, and Papua New Guinea. Since 2023, Troy has been a part of the team as a First Nations Dance Educator and has travelled the country teaching dance with his own unique flare.  

Currently, Troy is collaborating with Merindi Schrieber and Chantelle van der Hoek on a new development for the Education and Outreach program. Troy is leading the composition and music elements, drawing sounds from Country and traditional instruments.
