Timothy Coleman
Timothy Coleman grew up in Townsville, Queensland, and began his training at the Ann Roberts School of Dancing. He later studied with Marie Walton-Mahon (Newcastle) and with Beverly Jane Fry at Melbourne’s National Theatre Ballet School.
Timothy joined the City Ballet of San Diego in 2003, and Sacramento Ballet in 2006. In 2011 he joined Singapore Dance Theatre and stayed there for three years, eventually becoming a principal artist and dancing such roles as Franz in Coppélia, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and Espada in Don Quixote.
Timothy joined The Australian Ballet in 2015 and was promoted to coryphée in 2018.

Timothy’s wife is also a dancer, and they have been partners onstage and off for their whole careers. They now have a small son.
