Marko Juusela
Marko Juusela was born in Naantali, Finland, and began his dancing training at Raija Lehmussaaren Balettikoulu. Marko’s later training included the Ballet School of the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki before moving to the Agrippina Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in St. Petersburg, Russia, at the age of 15 to learn from Nikolay Tsiskaridze. In 2019, Marko became the first Finnish dancer to join the Mariinsky Theatre Ballet, and in 2022, he was appointed a soloist at the Polish National Ballet. Marko joined the Australian Ballet at the end of 2025.
