George-Murray was born in Manchester, England. He studied at Kathleen Atherton’s Academy of Dance, in Leigh; The Hammond School, in Chester; and the English National Ballet School. He has danced with English National Ballet, the National Ballet of Romania and the Royal Ballet of Flanders. He joined The Australian Ballet in 2017.

George-Murray left The Australian Ballet in March 2024.
