Claire Spencer AM

We're pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Spencer AM as The Australian Ballet's new Executive Director, following an extensive Australian and international search.

Claire is well known within the Australian creative community for her roles at Arts Centre Melbourne (CEO) and Sydney Opera House (COO), and internationally as the CEO of the Barbican Centre in London. Her experience in sustainable growth, financial management, and cultural engagement will accelerate execution of The Australian Ballet’s strategy. She was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her outstanding contribution to the arts.
