Chantelle Van der Hoek

Chantelle van der Hoek grew up on Bundjalung Country and graduated from the Australian Ballet School at the end of 2014, joined the Dance Education Team in 2015, was promoted to Senior Dance Educator in 2018 and Team Leader in 2022. Chantelle has performed in The Australian Ballet’s Storytime Ballets: The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Coppelia and Cinderella. Chantelle has been working in dance education for 10 years and was recently awarded a professional development scholarship, allowing her to gain extensive experience in Europe. She also holds a Bachelor of Psychology and is currently continuing her tertiary studies.

A fun fact about Chantelle is that she loves to explore all the incredible locations in Australia that the Education team travel to, from snorkelling on The Great Barrier Reef, to walking around the base of Uluru.
