Alexandra Walton

Alexandra was born in Sydney, Australia and began ballet classes at age six. She trained at the Teresa Johnson Ballet School and Classical Ballet 121 with Gillian Revie before accepting a full scholarship to the Houston Ballet academy at age 16. There she spent two years in the academy followed by two years in the second company (Houston Ballet 2), before accepting an apprentice position with the Houston Ballet Company for their 2022/23 season. After moving back to Australia in 2023, Alexandra joined The Australian Ballet as a guest artist performing in Anne Woolliams’ Swan Lake and Frederick Ashton’s The Dream. Alexandra joined The Australian Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2024.
