Shepparton Secondary School Project
'Places' 2020
In the fifth year of this residency, students from the Greater Shepparton Secondary College collaborated with The Australian Ballet’s Education and Outreach team to create a dance film exploring the theme of ‘connection to land and place’. The final outcome was filmed in locations around Greater Shepparton and was kindly supported by Fairley Foundation. The partnership aims to raise access to the arts and attainment in high school students, and provides training for teachers to support dance delivery within their schools.

'Reflections' 2019
This special alliance consisted of four schools, united in their vision to provide a robust education for every young person in Greater Shepparton.
In 2019, 70 students participated in the program, which aimed to develop core skills, confidence and general well-being, and worked to prepare them for their own choreographed performance to the community at Riverlinks Eastbank. The students rehearsed every day for nine days towards the final presentation of their work in the theme of The Nutcracker: Reflections.
