Joseph grew up in Wollongong; he trained at the Joanne Grace School of Dance and at The Australian Ballet School. In 2017 he danced Hilarion on The Australian Ballet's regional tour of Giselle. He joined the company in 2018. Joseph was promoted to coryphée in 2024.
