*Why does my Principal Package not include every ballet?

Due to scheduling constraints, we’re not always able to secure enough performance dates to include every ballet in each Principal Package. If your package is missing one or more ballets, you can choose to buy subscriber rate tickets on a date/time of your choosing. 

Additional tickets are subject to availability, so you might not be able to purchase your usual subscriber seats.

‡Phasing out of the Sydney White Saturday Matinee, White Saturday Evening and White Third packages.

Due to scheduling constraints, we’re not always able to secure enough performance dates to include every ballet in each Principal Package. In our 2026 Season, the White Saturday Matinee, White Saturday Evening and White Third packages will be missing two of the four ballets.

Looking ahead, to ensure a more consistent and seamless experience for our subscribers, we’ve made the decision to retire these packages from Season 2029.

Current subscribers to these packages were contacted in July and August 2025 and have the option of either changing packages now, or retaining their current package and seats for 2026, 2027 and 2028. Subscribers who choose to remain in these packages will be able to explore alternative package options at the time of renewal for any of these three seasons.

When will Season Packages for 2026 go on sale?

Sydney and Melbourne Principal Package renewals and bookings are now open.


Sydney and Melbourne Create Your Own Package renewals and bookings open 14 October.

Which Season Package is right for me?

A Principal Package usually includes all ballets in a season for a fixed day and time. This package allows you to keep the same seats year after year. Principal Packages give the best per-ticket price if you are wanting to see every ballet and gives the earliest access to book and renew. A Create Your Own Package gives more flexibility. This package allows you to choose 3 or more ballets on dates that suit you. Create Your Own Packages still get early access to book ahead of general ticket sales and receive discounts compared to general tickets.

Both Principal Package and Create Your Own Package holders receive Subscriber benefits including fee free exchanges (subject to Exchange Policy) and special offers from our partners.

How do I request a season brochure?

To receive a copy of the 2026 brochure in the mail, please submit a request via our Contact Us page or call us on 1300 369 741.

When will I receive my Season Package tickets?

Delivery times will vary for tickets delivered digitally as an email attachment and those that are printed and delivered by post. Please view our Ticketing page for updated delivery times.  

Please note that if you have purchased a concession ticket, your tickets will not be sent until valid proof of concession has been received via email by our customer experience team. Please contact our customer experience team if you cannot email your proof of concession

Why do Create Your Own Packages not go on sale until 14 October?

As Principal Package holders have set seats which are renewable year-on-year, we hold these seats throughout the Principal Package renewal period. After this point, we release any of these seats which are unrenewed. Waiting until after these releases to sell Create Your Own packages generally results in better availability for Create Your Own bookings.

How do I make changes to my Season Package?

If you need to make any changes to your renewal (including to the seats, the package, the price types or the number of seats), please call our Customer Experience team on 1300 369 741 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).

How do I select my seats for a new package purchase?

Seat selection is not currently available for new package purchases made online. However, you can select the price reserve. If you would like to choose specific seats, please give our Customer Experience team a call on 1300 369 741 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm). A $12 phone booking fee applies but will be waived for accessible seat bookings.
