Pre-performance tours

An exclusive opportunity for dance students. This tour will take you backstage before a matinee performance: see the dancers warming up for their roles and putting on their make-up and costumes, learn facts about your favourite dancer, and hear interesting details of the ballet about to be performed. Don't forget to bring your autograph book!

Tour groups are limited to 12 dance students. No photography is permitted during the tour.

for dance students age 6 to 18. Participants who do not fit these requirements will be unable to attend. The name, gender and date of birth of each participant is required at the time of booking.

Here's some important info you need to know before attending Pre-performance tours:

  • Please arrive at Stage Door by 11.50am, where you will be met by a member of The Australian Ballet staff
  • Please note, age limits and group size are strictly adhered to in order to ensure the safety of the group backstage
  • No cameras permitted
  • Please complete relevant information on the Participant Information Form and bring it along with your ticket
