Xanthe Geeves

Xanthe Geeves, a graduate of the Tanya Pearson Academy, danced in classical and contemporary companies in the UK, Germany and the US, finishing her career as a principal artist.

She has worked with many renowned chorographers. including Mats Ek, Nacho Duato, Marco Goecke and Stephan Thoss, firstly as an artist and then as a choreographic assistant. She has choreographed several full-length productions and created works on three continents.

In 2020, Xanthe was named the wWinner of the 2020 Emerging Female Classical Choreographer winner, an initiative of Dance Australia magazine, the Sydney Opera House and The Australian Ballet, in partnership with Grishko and Dancesurance. This initiative encourages and fosters professional skills development for emerging female choreographers creating work in the classical and modern ballet genre.
