An important update on our chamber music series

Due to uncertainty caused by continuing restrictions in place to limit the spread of COVID-19, Orchestra Victoria has made the difficult decision to postpone the chamber music performances that were scheduled for 28 August, 9 October and 6 November until further notice.

Information for ticket holders:
While we work on finding new dates for these performances, we would love for you to hold on to your tickets – although please reach out if you would like a refund. This series is so special to us, and we love having the opportunity to perform for you in our Southbank rehearsal studio. We will contact you as soon as we have secured new dates for these performances but if you have any questions about this postponement or your tickets in the meantime, please email us at or call 03 9694 3600.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the current COVID-19 lockdowns, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our performances of The New Babylon and Leonard the Lyrebird. Stay tuned though, we are currently finding new dates for these events and we hope to announce the details soon. All ticket holders will be contacted about their tickets by the relevant venue and those who purchased a ticket to the paid events will receive a refund.

Unfortunately our On the mOVe! education program, including the Student Orchestral Performance on 5 August, has been cancelled. All participants have been emailed.

Our performances of Jacqui Dark Sings Brel that were scheduled to take place at the Bendigo Bank Theatre on 4-5 August were previously cancelled due to state border closures. All ticket holders were contacted by the venue.

We thank you for your support and understanding.
