Meet Jasen

Jasen was born into a large musical family in Melbourne in 1980. He began as a chorister in the National Boys Choir of Australia and began playing horn at the age of 13. He studied at Blackburn High School with Kate Burgess (Peart) and the Victorian College of the Arts with Graeme Evans. He began playing casual and contract positions with Orchestra Victoria in 2006 and became Principal Horn in 2011. Jasen has performed with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. He plays a beautiful instrument that he bought directly from the manufacturer, Alexander, in Germany.
