Georgia Scott-Hunter was born on the Gold Coast and grew up in Brisbane. Her aunt, grandmother and mother all danced, and Georgia started ballet classes at age three after spending her early years dancing around the house: “I had so much energy that my mother decided to put me in ballet to burn some of it off.” Georgia trained at Strictly Dance with Debbie Lyn-Davidson and Jane Devine before moving onto The Australian Ballet School, where she toured with The Dancers Company in 2014 and 2015. She is particularly inspired by dancer Marianela Núñez, whom she admires for her diligence, hard work, and the unique quality of her dancing. Georgia joined The Australian Ballet in late 2015.
