Where are you from?
Perth, Western Australia
What’s been the highlight of your first season with The Australian Ballet?
It would have to be Onegin. It was such an incredible ballet to be a part of. It was full of artistic expression and I felt as though I learnt so much from watching each of the principals portraying that depth of emotional intensity and really becoming their characters.
Who would be your dream pas de deux partner?
I hope to be able to partner Hannah O’Neill once again. We are close friends outside of the studio, which helps us to generate such a connection on stage, because we are so comfortable with one another and we have lots of fun. I dream that we will once again dance together doing a full three-act ballet such as Swan Lake or The Sleeping Beauty.
What music are you loving right now?
Florence and The Machine.
What’s your favourite way to relax?
I generally like to go out in Melbourne and find really good places to eat or have coffee with my friend Scotty.
So what’s your current favourite coffee spot?
One of the many cafés in Hardware Lane or Degraves Street. There are way too many to choose from!
What’s your most watched ballet DVD?
La Bayadère by Paris Opera Ballet. It's one of my absolutely favourite ballets and it's performed by such a renowned classical company. Just beautiful!
